this hdtv Has very great picture quality and it Show 1080p HD on my Directv Hd Reciver and not to mention the PS3 Looks Great On This Tv With HDMI and the ps3 picture quality is 1080p Full HD,Great Price For 265.I Highly Recommend.The only Thing Bad About This Tv Is The Lack Of Sound quality The Speakers Sound cheap and Has No Bass In Them But i Bought A Surround Sound And Madden 09 looks so Clear And Real and it sound like im Really There with This Tv.

Overall a really great small TV.

Pros: small size which is good for a small space (ours sits atop a dresser in our bedroom); sleek and nice looking; for some unexplained reason, we started getting HDTV channels when we do not have that as part of our cable package (nice surprize); really good picture quality; Toshiba TVs typically rank high in quality.

Cons: takes a long time (7-10 seconds) for the TV to turn on once the on button is pressed; also takes a longer time than expected for channels to change; sound quality is fair to good but not great (in a small room it is sufficient.

Overall, I do recommend this product.

I own a 60" Sony, and two 32" Sony LCD's. I wanted a small unit in our kitchen to allow us to watch HD Sports, News and programs in that space, where we spend a considerable amount of time, given the size of our family.

In the Bay Area of California, we use Comcast for Cable, and I picked up the Comcast Cable Receiver. At first, I was extremely dissapointed by the volume. The picture was fine, but the volume was so low, I was considering sending the unit back. Then I realized the Comcast unit only had a component video output. I brought it back, and insisted on a Comcast box that had an HDMI output. Once I had a video receiver that allowed me an HDMI output, to go to the Sharp HDMI Input, two changes occurred.

1) Volume increased by 1,000 pecent. Where before the HDMI connection I could barely hear the TV at a volume level of 100, now I don't turn the volume beyond 25%.

2) The picture improved dramatically.

Great TV. Great price. HDMI connection is a must for this unit.

By far the best picture quality I have seen on an LCD TV of this type. It costs a little more but it is well worth the price. Keep an eye out at local retailers for discounted or open box items since many people do not realize that this is not a widescreen or HD quality TV and return it.

This set has the very BEST picture quality. I have a Sony 23 inch LCD set and there is absolutely no comparison between the two. I would highly recommend the Zenith Z20LA7R 20" TV.
